A Prayer for You

A Prayer for You

This is my prayer for you:

I pray that the Lord will reveal Himself to you in this moment, as you seek to know Him more. I pray that you will read His Word to understand His character and allow yourself to become vulnerable with Him - letting Him into your heart, renewing your mind, and transforming your life for His glory.

I pray that shyness will not stop you from sharing the gospel, and that He will use you to create testimonies for others - so those who may have once been in your situation can see themselves in a future paved by the Lord. I pray that you put God first every day, in all things, no matter how big, small, trivial, or seemingly outlandish they may seem. Seek His kingdom first, and trust that all else will be added unto you. Store your treasures in Him, and seek His guidance before making life’s choices, because His plans far surpass anything we could imagine.

I pray that if you have wronged someone, you bring it to God, repent, and allow yourself to be forgiven. And most importantly, if someone has hurt you, may you forgive them quickly, as we would want our Heavenly Father to forgive us. May you even pray for and love your enemies and those who persecute you. May you love your neighbors as yourself, because love is the greatest act, and in loving others, we reflect Christ.

I pray for your family, your loved ones, your spouse, your friends, and your coworkers. I pray that you attend church and Bible study, that your thoughts be heavenly, and that you choose to speak life over your circumstances. May your mouth be a tool to worship, praise, pray without ceasing, and bless those near and far. I pray for your community, your home, your health, and for everything you consume - your food, water, and drink - that all may be blessed.

I pray that when He calls you, you will answer, coming to know Him as I have and remaining in intimate relationship with Him. Nothing is too small or too great to pray over. May you remain mindful that God is to be first in all things - in action, in pause, and in reflection. Do everything with gratitude, staying aligned with Him, and offering thanks and praise afterward. Even when things don’t go as we hope, He is still worthy of glory, and like a loving Father, He only desires the best for you.

Colossians 3:17 – “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”1 Thessalonians 5:17 – “Pray without ceasing.”Proverbs 3:6 – “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”1 Corinthians 10:31 – “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”

Over all, may prayer be woven into every part of your life. May the Lord bless you and keep you, may His face shine upon you, and may you be richly blessed. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
