Even in the Dark, God Is Good

When things are down and uncertain - it’s okay. Just stop and take a moment to honor God.
I’ve been there before - where using the internet for work seemed fine, but suddenly the servers were down. Bummer, right? We would have to revert to the olden ways - writing down customers’ needs, taking their names and phone numbers to add later once the system was back up. Sure, the thought of doing double the work isn’t fun, but it’s what we had to do.
Fast forward to now - here we are in 2026. I had just gotten into work and couldn’t even clock in because the site was “unreachable.” But I didn’t panic. I checked in with my manager to let her know the issue, then tried again. I followed up with another manager, who had already confirmed the situation. No problem - just noted.
Then you know what I did? I began to pray and worship the Lord, giving Him all the glory and praise. Just me, thanking Him for what He was doing, resting in Him. I would go so far as to say: even in the dark, God is still good.
When things go down in your life, or seem to have “gone offline,” what are you going to do? Are you going to complain - or give God all the praise?
